Shirred Eggs

Ingredients:
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Preparation:

Melt butter in egg shirrer or any fireproof earthen baking dish. Break the eggs into the dish and season to taste. Cook in moderate oven until set. Add little chopped parsley, cheese or a few fried bread crumbs may be sprinkled on top before baking.
