Quick Butterscotch Frosting

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 3/4 to 2 cup Confectioner'sugar

Preparation:

In medium saucepan melt butter. Add brown sugar. Boil over low heat 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add milk and continue stirring until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat and cool.

Add Confectioner'sugar in small portions, beating well after each addition. Continue adding sugar until frosting is thick enough to spread.
