Tomato Gravy

Ingredients:
  • 1 lbs sausage
  • 1 sm. can milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes, do not drain

Preparation:

Crumble and fry sausage until one. Drain sausage. Put sausage grease back in skillet. Add more shortening, when melted add flour, brown to likeness. Mix milk and water together.

Then add milk mixture, tomatoes and sausage, stirring frequently, until gravy thickens. Serve over biscuits and potatoes.
