Uncooked Strawberry Jam

Ingredients:
  • 3-10 oz. package frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1-3 1/2 oz. package M.C.P. pectin
  • 1 cup light Karo syrup
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

Preparation:

Thaw berries, add hot water. Heat slowly to 110° F. Remove from heat. Sift in M.C.P. pectin, set aside for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in Karo syrup, and sugar.

Mix thoroughly. Add lemon juice.

Servings: 3 1/2 pt.
