In large skillet with tight-fitting lid melt 1 Tbsp butter Spread 2 or 3 lettuce leaves in skillet. Add 18 oz. peas. Dot with 3 Tbsp butter sprinkle with 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp sugar and 1/8 tsp pepper.
Cook over low heat 30 min. til tender.
NOTES: We used to live in Northern Canada where all the frozen vegetables came aged like fine wine. This recipe could rescue the worst peas so imagine what it can do for quality vegetables!
