Great American Cookie Company's Chewy Pecan Cookie

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 1/3 cups light brown sugar,
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 cup crushed corn flakes
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Preparation:

Cream together shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well.

Roll into 2 inch balls bake at 350° F for about 9 to 11 minutes.

Be careful these things are addictive.
