Wine Sauce

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup Beef stock
  • 1 Onion; peeled & quartered
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1/4 tsp Sage
  • 1 Tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup Wine

Preparation:

Bring stock, onion, bay leaf and sage to a boil; boil 15 minutes. Stir in cornstarch, strain and add wine.

Yields: 2 cups
