Doctored Beans

Ingredients:
  • 1 - 16 oz. can pork and beans, drained
  • 1/3 cup bottled barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tart apple, peeled, cored and finely chopped
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp raisins
  • 2 strips bacon, chopped

Preparation:

Mix together all ingredients in a 1-quart casserole; bake uncovered in a 350° F oven for 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
