Mix chick-peas with 1 Tbsp of olive oil. Heat remaining oil in large skillet and sauté onion until tender. Add chick-peas and garlic and cook until warmed through. Add tomato and cook 2-3 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Prepare pasta. (about 2 minutes before pasta is done, add broccoli. Drain and add broccoli and pasta to skillet; toss to combine. Serve with freshly grated parmesan cheese.
