Braised Cabbage

Ingredients:
  • 1 head cabbage
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 2 Tbsp butter, softened
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

Preparation:

Cut cabbage into pieces, removing tough inner core.

In a covered pan, simmer cabbage in stock about 20 minutes or until tender. Uncover and continue cooking until liquid boils away. Add butter, salt and pepper.
