Baked or Grilled Cabbage

Ingredients:
  • 1 head of cabbage, wedged
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Stick of butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 cup water

Preparation:

Line a pan with aluminum foil with enough to bring to cover and fold over. Wedge cabbage and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place butter or margarine slices over tops of wedges. Add water. Bring sides of foil up and seal at top. Bake in 400° F oven until tender, about one hour. Grill on medium flame approximately 45 minutes or until tender.
