Core and cut cabbage into strips and boil for 5 minutes. Drain.
Melt the butter and combine with the white sauce.
Line a greased 9 x 9-inch square baking dish with the 1/2 cabbage strips, spoon 1/2 the sauce mixture over cabbage strips, sprinkle with 1/2 the cheeses and cracker crumbs. Repeat layering with remaining ingredients, ending with the cracker crumbs.
Bake, uncovered, at 350° F for 30 to 40 minutes.
