Combine eggs, water, flour, salt and potatoes mix until well blended. Place dough on a small cutting board and cut off small pieces of dough - (about 1/4 tsp ). Drop them into boiling salted water. They will rise to the top when cooked.
Remove and rinse. (At this point they can be served in soup or topped with gravy). Cut bacon into cubes and fry. Chop cabbage very fine and fry with bacon stirring frequently until both are browned.
When done combine with dumplings and serve.
