Wisconsin Swiss Cheesy Cauliflower

Ingredients:
  • 1 large head cauliflower
  • 3 cups - 12 oz. shredded Wisconsin Swiss cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups half-and-half
  • 3 egg yolks, beaten
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs

Preparation:

Rinse cauliflower. Separate into florets. Steam just until tender. Place cauliflower in buttered 8 inch square baking dish.

Stir together cheese, Half-and-half, egg yolks, nutmeg and pepper until well blended. Pour over cauliflower.

Mix together butter and bread crumbs. Sprinkle over cauliflower.

Bake at 350° F for 20 to 25 minutes.
