Chicken & Dressing

Ingredients:
  • 1 chicken
  • 2 qts. bread or cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp sage
  • black pepper

Preparation:

Cook chicken and keep broth. Cut chicken in small pieces. Put bread or cracker crumbs in bowl and add celery. Add enough chicken broth to soak crumbs. Add beaten eggs, sage, and pepper to bread mixture.

More crumbs or broth can be added to make right thickness. Add diced chicken. Pour in greased pan and bake at 400° F until brown.
