Tuna Wrap

Ingredients:
  • 1 8 oz. package Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 1 6 1/2 oz. can water-pack tune, drained and flaked
  • 1/4 cup miracle whip dressing (or mayonnaise)
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt (or sour cream--light preferred)
  • 10 oz. package frozen chopped spinach, cooked, drained, and squeezed very dry
  • 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten with 1 tsp water
  • Sesame seeds

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350° F. Lightly grease large cookie sheet. Combine drained tuna, spinach, miracle whip, and yogurt.

Spread crescent dough on cookie sheet, pinching seams together to make a large rectangle, approximately 9 x 12.

Spread the tuna filling down the center third of the rectangle. Top with grated cheddar. Fold sides up and pinch middle seam to seal. Roll ends tightly to seal. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle liberally with sesame seeds.

Bake (about 30 minutes or until dark golden brown. Cool 5 minutes. Slice on the diagonal to serve. Serves 3 to 4.
