Tomato Gravy

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cups tomato juice
  • Pinch of baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 Tbsp cornstarch

Preparation:

Boil tomato juice. Add baking soda, salt and sugar. Mix cornstarch and milk together, and pour into tomato mixture.

Bring to a boil. Serve on scrambled eggs or fried mush.
